Few venues are more central to Philadelphia food traditions than Reading Terminal Market.
This year, on the day before Thanksgiving, 20,000 shoppers are expected to stream into the
market to pick their turkey day supplies. Christmas Eve will be only slightly less crowded,
with about 19,000 people buying ingredients for their holiday feasts.
